About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a
Senior Mine Waste Engineer
to join our Brisbane or Perth team.
This role is suited to someone who has built strong technical capability and is now looking to
step into a broader leadership position
— leading projects, influencing clients, mentoring people, and contributing to the direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Lead delivery of mine waste and geotechnical projects
Act as Engineer of Record (EoR) and/or Technical Reviewer where appropriate
Provide practical, risk-based technical advice across:
Tailings storage facilities
Closure planning




Build and manage strong client relationships
Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers
Support proposals, RFP's, and business development
Contribute to improving technical standards and internal capability
About You
Degree in Civil Engineering
Postgraduate qualifications in Geotechnical or Environmental Engineering
6+ years' experience in mine waste engineering
Experience across planning, design, construction, and operation of TSFs
Robust understanding of ANCOLD, GISTM, and Australian mining requirements
Proven ability to manage projects and engage directly with clients
EoR and/or independent technical review experience
Leadership and mentoring capability
Commercial awareness and contribution to business development

Remuneration
AUD $150,000 – $220,000+
, depending on experience and capability
