n SalaryRange: $116,981 - $129,492 per annum + Superannuation

About the role
n
Weare looking for motivated and experienced individuals to join NSW Fair Trading as Senior Investigators in the Strata and PropertyServices branch. The role investigates serious breaches of
property,conveyancing
and licensing laws across NSW and helps support
appropriateenforcement
action.
n
What you'll be doing
n
n
Plan, conduct and lead investigations into alleged breaches of property, conveyancing and licensing laws
n
Gather and assess evidence to support enforcement and prosecution outcomes
n
Conduct structured interviews with respondents and witnesses
n
Prepare briefs of evidence, reports and findings in line with legislative and procedural requirements
n
Provide clear advice and reporting on investigative matters
n
Work with internal and external stakeholders to support fair and consistent regulatory outcomes.
n

About you
n
n
Demonstrated experience conducting complex, high-volume investigations
n
Understanding of compliance, enforcement and administrative law
n
Ability to interpret legislation and apply sound judgement and decision-making
n
Possess strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
n
Strong understanding of investigative processes, rules of evidence, and brief preparation
n
Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
n

Essentialcriteria
n

Certificate IV in
GovernmentInvestigations
(or equivalent




experience/willingness
to obtain)
n
Understanding of investigative principles,rules of evidence, and brief preparation
n
A current NSW driver's licence and the ability to travel when required.
n
