About the Role
Our South West Operations are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Advisor to join our Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) team. This role is situated in Bunbury, WA.
Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our employees and contractors to
achieve outstanding safety outcomes
by developing and implementing site safety strategies,
driving risk management
and critical control programs, leading investigations and audits, and
ensuring compliance
with legislative and company requirements.
As a trusted advisor, you will partner closely with site leaders and the workforce to foster a
positive and sustainable safety culture
,
support continuous improvement initiatives, and strengthen organisational learning and resilience. You will also provide leadership and mentoring to Safety Officers, helping to
drive safety excellence
across the operation.
About You
To be successful in your application you will ideally need to possess:
Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety or Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
Good knowledge of applicable safety legislation, safety investigation techniques and risk management philosophies and implementation
