We have multiple FIFO opportunities available for Mechanical Commissioning Technicians, working with leading clients including Tier 1 Mining Companies.
Point of Hire:
Perth
Rosters 8:6 and 2:1
Choice of swings available
12 hour shifts
Varied from 3 months to 6 months
Paid travel time & expenses (Perth – Site – Perth)
Superannuation paid on all site hours
Multiple sites (North West WA)

About the roles:
Join our team and play a key role in commissioning a range of equipment and packages.
Responsibilities include:
Completion of ITR's across the commissioning lifecycle through to hand over
Marking Up Drawings (Redline / Blueline)




Perform loop checks, calibration and verification of field instrumentation.
Conduct function testing of motors, switchgear, MCCs, valves, transmitters PLCs and SCADA systems.
Conduct fault finding and rectification works
Maintain a strong safety focus and comply with Intellect Systems' & Client OHSE policies and procedures
Current LVR / CPR
WA White Construction Card
WA Drivers License (C Class)
Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and D&A; Screening
12 Months + Commissioning experience (Mining, Oil & Gas or Heavy Industry)
Ability to read and correctly interpret electrical drawings, P&ID;'s and loop drawings
Solid fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Highly Desirable
Rio Tinto, BHP, or FMG Inducted
Experience with conveyor systems, crushers, pumps, motors, and associated field equipment.
Mechanical Trade Certification
High Risk Work Licence – EWP (WP)
Confined Space Entry & Gas Testing
