Senior Geologist / Senior Project Geologist - Porphyry CopperEast Coast | Sydney, NSW Preferred | ***** Roster | NSW, NT & SA ProjectsWe are partnering with a growing exploration company holding one of the largest tenement positions in New South Wales, with additional ground recently secured in South Australia and further exploration planned in the Northern Territory.
Currently mid-way through an active porphyry copper drilling campaign, they are preparing to ramp up hiring for senior exploration roles in the coming months.The OpportunityReporting directly to the Exploration Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of active drilling programs on porphyry copper targets across New South Wales, with the program expected to extend into IOCG targets in the Northern Territory and South Australia.
This role starts as a short-term contract (approximately 3-4 months, through to the end of the year), with strong potential to extend or convert to a permanent position for the right candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support delivery of porphyry copper drilling programs across NSWContribute to planning and execution of exploration programs extending into IOCG targets in the NT and SAOversee day-to-day geological operations, including logging, sampling,
