OVERVIEW An experienced Immigration and Global Mobility Manager is sought to support a leading university in a fast-paced and complex workplace. This role focuses on delivering end-to-end immigration and mobility solutions that support international talent movement while improving employee experience and ensuring compliance with Australian regulations. The position involves partnering with internal and global stakeholders to manage immigration processes, support talent strategy objectives, and provide practical guidance on visa and mobility matters. The role also includes leadership responsibilities and continuous improvement across service delivery.

Key responsibilities

Lead end-to-end immigration processes, including visa applications, sponsorship, and compliance activities
n
Ensure compliance with Australian immigration laws, regulations, and internal governance frameworks
n
Provide practical advice to leaders and employees regarding visa requirements, policy interpretation, and immigration risk management
n
Manage complex and high-risk immigration cases with timely and solutions-focused outcomes
n
Partner with HR, Legal, Payroll, and external providers to deliver compliant immigration services
n
Lead and develop a small team
n




Drive continuous improvement across immigration processes and employee experience
n
Support seamless international talent mobility across regions
n

Requirements

Proven experience in immigration and global mobility within large and complex organisations
n
Strong knowledge of Australian immigration legislation and visa processes
n
Ability to manage end-to-end mobility programs
n
Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments

Excellent communication and influence skills

Strong customer-focused approach

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
