you will lead a team that plans and delivers communication campaigns across the department.You will help shape communication that supports government priorities and informs the Victorian community.You will:lead major communication strategies and campaigns from planning through to evaluationprovide trusted advice to senior leaders on campaign planning, research and communicationmanage a high-performing team and support staff to build their skillsoversee complex projects, budgets, contracts and reporting requirementsuse evidence and market research to improve campaigns and meet community needs.About youA tertiary qualification in communications or a related field is highly desirable.
You should also have strong experience leading communication campaigns, ideally in the public sector.You should also have:strong knowledge of Victorian Government communication policies, processes and campaign approvalsproven experience leading communication, marketing, research and project workexcellent leadership, communication and negotiation skillsthe ability to build productive working relationships, support change and deliver results.Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (Aboriginal) people are strongly encouraged to apply.
