Opportunity
This is a permanent full‐time opportunity, ideally based in Sydney or Canberra, supporting secure, enterprise‐scale environments in a highly regulated setting.
The role involves maintaining and improving critical platforms across networking, servers, storage and backup technologies, contributing to operational resilience, security and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate must hold a Baseline security clearance or higher.
Responsibilities
Support and maintain enterprise infrastructure across networking, servers, storage and backup platformsTroubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and connectivity issuesAdminister secure network environments including firewalls, routing, switching and remote accessSupport VMware, Windows and Linux environments across physical and virtual infrastructurePerform patching, upgrades, monitoring, maintenance and operational health checksManage backup, recovery and storage platforms including SAN and NAS technologiesContribute to incident, change and disaster recovery processesWork closely with internal teams,



vendors and stakeholders to deliver reliable operational outcomesProvide technical guidance and support to other engineers where required
Ideal Candidate
Baseline security clearanceProven experience in senior infrastructure engineering or operations rolesStrong hands‐on experience across networking, server, storage and backup technologiesExperience supporting enterprise environments across Windows, Linux and VMwareStrong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs and network securityExperience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and operational issuesKnowledge of enterprise storage and backup technologies including SAN and NASStrong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non‐technical teamsExperience working in regulated, government or defence environments highly regardedExposure to technologies such as Palo Alto, Cisco, Meraki, NetApp, Rubrik or F5 highly regarded
