This is an opportunity to make a real impact on our security posture as we continue our journey to becoming Australia's best insurer.The roleAs a Senior Cloud Incident Response Analyst, you'll lead and manage cloud security incident response activities, investigating, containing, and mitigating security incidents across our cloud environments.
Reporting to the Head of Technology Security, you'll provide expert guidance on cloud-specific threats and vulnerabilities while helping to establish a centralised advanced incident response capability.Your key responsibilities will include:Leading response activities to critical incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities across AWS and GCP environments\Supporting the establishment of a centralised advanced incident response capability to proactively defend A&G;'s cloud infrastructureReviewing and uplifting incident response tooling, including dedicated out-of-band and forensics environments, incident tracking systems, and communication toolsImplementing automation foundations and standards using DevOps and cloud industry practices and frameworksBuilding and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support security operationsActing as an ambassador for digital security across the business,



building relationships and ensuring effective dialogue between teamsSupporting cyber security projects and initiatives with timely judgment and technical expertise\Collaborating with internal stakeholders to promote a strong risk and compliance culture aligned with APRA's prudential standardsProviding on-call or shift support outside normal business hours when requiredWhat experience you'll bringA minimum of 7+ years' experience working in cyber security with a focus on incident response and cloud securityDemonstrated experience in incident response is essentialProven network experience across cloud and on-premise environments, with strong proficiency in design, implementation, and support of network infrastructureExpertise in AWS and/or GCP cloud security controls and technologiesStrong understanding of network security practices and SIEMProven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologiesExperience with DevSecOps principles and toolingSkilled in DevOps toolchains including Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOpsCloud security certifications in AWS or GCP (desirable)Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO *****, and SOC2 (desirable)LocationClose to a variety of public transport and easy parking options, the Toowong office has excellent end of trip facilities (including secure bike storage and showers), outdoor spaces and plenty of modern collaborative areas to work and connect with colleagues.
