Bridgeford Group is helping clients transition existing buildings toward a lower carbon future through practical, commercially focused engineering solutions.As demand across electrification, building optimisation, and energy transition continues to grow, we're looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team.This is an chance to work on meaningful projects that directly contribute to decarbonisation outcomes across existing buildings, live operational environments, tenancy fitouts, and infrastructure upgrades.From electrification and lighting upgrades through to EV infrastructure, submetering, and building optimisation initiatives, you'll play a hands‐on role delivering solutions that make a measurable impact.You'll join a business that combines technical capability with agility, commercial thinking, and a genuine focus on delivering actionable outcomes for clients.The OpportunityWorking within our Building Services team, you'll support the delivery of electrical engineering projects across commercial, industrial, retail, education, health, and mixed‐use developments.The role will see you involved across the full project lifecycle including investigations, audits, feasibility, design, documentation, stakeholder coordination, delivery support, and commissioning.A significant focus of the role will be working within existing and live operational buildings, helping clients modernise infrastructure and transition toward more sustainable building operations.You'll work closely with clients, contractors, consultants, DNSPs, and internal engineering teams, becoming a trusted advisor through practical and technically sound solutions.What You'll Be DoingDeliver electrical engineering solutions across existing buildings, tenancy fitouts,



and small‐scale new buildsSupport electrification and decarbonisation projects including gas‐to‐electric transitions and infrastructure upgradesDeliver lighting design and LED replacement programsDesign and support submetering and energy monitoring solutionsSupport EV charging and renewable energy integration projectsPrepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and documentation packagesProduce and coordinate drawings using AutoCADUndertake site investigations and infrastructure condition assessmentsCoordinate with DNSPs regarding network availability and infrastructure requirementsWork collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and sustainability teamsSupport commissioning, defect resolution, and project closeout activitiesBuild strong client relationships and contribute to ongoing business growth opportunitiesAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is technically capable, commercially aware, and enjoys working closely with clients to solve real‐world challenges.You'll ideally bring:Degree qualifications in Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer Registration (NER, RPEQ, CPEng or equivalent), or actively working toward registrationExperience within electrical building services or consulting engineering environmentsExperience working across existing building upgrades and live operational environmentsStrong understanding of electrical infrastructure and building systemsExperience with lighting design, infrastructure upgrades, and submetering solutionsAutoCAD capabilityStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, collaborative, and solutions‐focused approachExperience across electrification, energy transition, lighting, renewable energy,
