Working across personal injury and property damage claims, you'll manage your own portfolio of Public Liability matters from assessment through to resolution, applying your technical expertise to deliver fair, timely and commercially sound outcomes.About QBEAt QBE, we get to the heart of what matters for our customers.

As part of the QBE team, you'll get to spend every day working with people who are passionate, talented and kind.Your new roleManage Public Liability claims from lodgement through to resolution, including personal injury and property damage matters.Assess claims, determine liability and apply policy coverage to support quality claim outcomes.Interpret policy wordings and make informed decisions, escalating complex matters when required.Build robust relationships with insureds, brokers, solicitors, investigators and other key stakeholders.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, privacy obligations and internal quality standards.Deliver qualified,
timely and accurate service across all claim-related enquiries.About YouDemonstrated experience managing Public Liability claims involving personal injury and/or property damage, or relevant legal qualifications.Strong claims assessment and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret policies, evidence and liability exposures.Exposure to dispute resolution processes, including mediations, settlement conferences or litigation.Confident communicator and negotiator who can effectively manage a range of stakeholders.Well-organised and able to prioritise competing demands while managing a varied claims portfolio.Legal knowledge or a background in law will be highly regardedBenefitsWe offer a range of benefits to help provide holistic support for your work life, whatever your circumstances.
