About the Role
n
As an assistant Team Member, you'll play a vital role within the team. As a supporting team member you will be afforded the opportunity to work alongside others sharing your knowledge and experience to ensure children have the best possible learning environments and outcomes.
n
What You'll Do
n
n
Support and collaboration within the classroom environments
n
Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
n
Ensure compliance with the National Law and Regulations
n
Promote child safety and uphold the Victorian Child Safe Standards
n
Collaborate in QIP planning and service improvements
n




Contribute to orientation and family engagement practices
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Certificate III of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
n
Current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
n
Understanding of child development and contemporary pedagogy
n
Strong leadership, communication, and team mentoring skills
n
A proactive, reflective, and values-driven approach
n
A strong understanding of child protection and child safety principles
n
Experience as a supporting team member
n
Familiarity with platforms such as Storypark
n
Experience with trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
n
