We do this through the way we communicate and the people we employ.The Opportunity:We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Building Surveyor to join our Victorian team to help our clients achieve safe and compliant buildings.
Permanent and Fixed Term contracts are available.What you'll do:Support our existing client base with sound technical advice and a high standard of professionalismManage multiple commercial projects from start to finishCarry out regulatory and compliance assessments across all project stagesAssess documentation against the NCC, Building Act, Building Regulations and relevant standardsPrepare and facilitate building permits, occupancy permits, certificates and related documentationTechnical & on-site involvementAttend site inspections and design meetings as requiredProvide clear, practical technical guidance to clients and stakeholdersBusiness growth & team contributionSupport the growth of the building surveying business, particularly in VictoriaIdentify improvements and efficiencies,



and contribute to action plansAssist with business development and broader team initiativesLeadershipLead by example and support the development of team members through mentoring and knowledge sharingWhat you bringQualifications & experienceLicensed in Victoria as a Building Surveyor Unlimited, or Building Surveyor Limited with experience in large scale commercial projects.
Applicants without a licence must demonstrate ability to become licensed.Degree (or similar) in Building SurveyingIdeally 5+ years' experience in a similar role (we will consider varied experience levels)Technical capabilityStrong knowledge of the Victorian Building Act, Building Regulations, NCC and relevant Australian StandardsFamiliarity with the Building Surveyors Code of Conduct in Victoria.Skills & approachStrong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlinesClear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWe're a friendly bunch who are passionate about our work.
