DescriptionA fixed-term employment register is not a vacancy and inclusion on a register does not guarantee any offer of employment will be made.
The Senior Allied Health Professional Employment Register is established to provide the Department of Health with a pool of experienced and skilled people who are able to work at short notice.
Interested persons are able to submit their application to be considered for duties on a fixed-term or casual basis.
The Register will remain open to applicants until 30 June **** and will be reviewed on a regular basis.
The Register will not preclude other Senior Allied Health Qualified positions being advertised if warranted.

Access to the progression point of Year 5Q salary of $121,907 is subject to the successful completion of a relevant Graduate Diploma.ClassificationAllied Health Professional Level 3LocationSouth,
North and North WestDutiesProvide an efficient and effective allied health service to the patients and clients of the Department of Health at a senior and/or specialist level within the allocated work area(s).
Essential RequirementsSatisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registered with the relevant Board or, in the case of unregulated professions, eligible for membership of the relevant professional association.Pre‐employment checksConviction checks: Crimes of Violence, Sex Related Offences, Serious Drug Offences, Crimes involving dishonesty.Identification check.Disciplinary action in previous employment check.Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration for some roles.Desirable RequirementsCurrent Driver's Licence.
