We are seeking a
Data Scientist
for a
hybrid, Brisbane-based
role supporting the development of scalable data foundations that enable advanced AI solutions within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) sector.
This is a hands-on role combining data engineering, analytics, and applied data science. You will work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver clean, reliable, and production-ready data assets.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines
Transform raw data into clean, usable datasets
Analyse data and deliver actionable insights
Define and apply data science standards and best practices
Own and continuously improve core data assets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes efficiently
Communicate progress, risks, and insights clearly
Apply strong data governance, ethics, and responsibility principles
Skills & Experience
3+ years' experience in data engineering, data analysis, or data science
Strong experience working with large, complex datasets
Solid understanding of machine learning and statistical analysis
Experience with
PyTorch or TensorFlow
Solid Python skills and experience with Azure services
Proven ability to translate data insights into business outcomes
Highly regarded
Experience with 3D geometry
Familiarity with IFC / IfcOpenShell
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
