About the roleButler Settineri is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing taxation team in Subiaco, WA.

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will take on a pivotal role in delivering high-quality tax advisory and compliance services to our diverse client base.
You will be responsible for managing complex tax matters, leading junior team members, and contributing strategically to the growth and success of our taxation practice.Key responsibilitiesPrepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts, ensuring compliance with current taxation legislationProvide strategic tax planning advice to clients, identifying opportunities for tax effective strategies and efficient structuringConduct tax research and analysis on complex taxation issues to support client advisory servicesManage client relationships and liaise with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regarding taxation matters and disputesLead and mentor junior tax accountants and support staff, fostering their professional developmentReview the work of junior team members to ensure accuracy and adherence to firm standardsStay current with changes in taxation legislation and communicate these to relevant clientsContribute to the development of tax strategies and methodologies within the firmAssist with business development and client retention initiativesWhat we're looking forMinimum 5+ years' experience in tax accounting,
