Purpose and Main ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of the role is to support with site assessments, due diligence and planning approval activities across GreenPoint Energy's portfolio of early-stage renewable energy (wind, solar and battery) projects across Australia.
The role requires a person with passion for working with local communities and Government to build Australia's renewable energy future.Job RequirementsQualifications & Experience3–7 years of experience in town planning, development approvals, or environmental planning, preferably within the renewable energy, , or infrastructure sectorsTertiary qualification in Urban/Town Planning, Environmental Science, or a related disciplineStrong working knowledge of State and Local planning policies, legislation, codes and guidelines and the environmental approval processes across Australian jurisdictionsExperience liaising and negotiating with Local and State Government bodies and other authorities/agenciesProven ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including members of the public and local communitiesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skillsAbility to work autonomously and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environmentJob ResponsibilitiesYour job responsibilities will be broadly,
