Internal ref: Workforce Development Officer | Looking for: Psychologists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists | Grade 3 - Senior Position | Clinical Service: SASHAbout the Role:Are you a Senior Allied Health Clinician with experience in clinical education and supervision looking to make a significant impact to workforce development and sustainability?
Join SASH's Workforce Development team in a full time, ongoing capacity at 80 hours per fortnight with monthly ADO.In this role, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and reviewing SASH's orientation program of new staff, administering and operationalising SASH's credentialing and capability frameworks and supporting the development of a new graduate program for entry level sexual assault clinicians.
Reporting to the Workforce and Service Development Lead, you will also work closely with SASH Clinical Managers to support the development of clinicians in delivering high-quality evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children who have experienced sexual harm and their families.
The role will co-work cases with developing clinicians, provide clinical supervision in line with SASH's supervision policy and will deliver and source education and outcomes-focused learning and skill development for the clinical team.Classification for this position is:Psychologist Grade 3, Year 1 to Year 4 (PL1 - PL4)Social Worker Grade 3, Year 1 to Year 4 (SC31 - SC34)Occupational Therapist Grade 3 Year 1 to Year 4 (VG3 - VG6)Other relevant discipline/sWhat you'll achieve:Development and sustainability of a specialist sexual assault workforce by developing and delivering the clinical orientation program in line with best practice approaches and evidenceProfessional development and wellbeing of clinicians by providing specialist sexual assault clinical supervision, mentoring, and supportContribution to the implementation of a robust credentialing, capability,
and professional development framework to support clinical excellence and quality assuranceYour skills and experience:Recognised qualification in relevant discipline and current registration with relevant AHPRA Board and/or eligibility for membership with professional bodyExperience in the provision of clinical supervisionExperience in developing and delivering education/training programs for clinical staff, interns and/or studentsAbout SASH:SASH (Support After Sexual Harm) is a Centre Against Sexual Assault (CASA) - a specialist sexual assault service, based at the Royal Children's Hospital.Sexual Assault Crisis Response for children following sexual harm (recent experience or disclosure) and their families.
