Department: Infrastructure Capacity and PlanningDepartment/Agency: Corrective Services NSWLocation: Parramatta, NSW, AU, ****Senior Project Officer – ConstructionCorrective Services NSWLocation – Windsor or ParramattaEmployment type – Temporary Full time up to 24 monthsSalary – $133,348 - $146,945 pa Plus Superannuation and Annual Leave LoadingYour roleJoin a team delivering critical infrastructure projects that support Corrective Services NSW.
You'll coordinate project delivery from construction through to operational readiness, working with contractors, designers, and operational stakeholders to ensure facilities are completed safely, to quality standards, and ready for handover.
This is an excellent opportunity to build your project delivery experience on complex, high-profile projects while contributing to meaningful public sector outcomes.What you'll doAs part of the Infrastructure Capacity and Planning team, you'll help keep projects moving from construction to completion.
You'll coordinate project schedules, support site inspections and compliance activities, manage stakeholder engagement, and facilitate project handovers to ensure facilities are operationally ready.Working across a diverse portfolio of projects, you'll collaborate with a range of stakeholders in a dynamic environment that offers variety, challenge, and opportunities for professional growth.What we're looking forWe're looking for someone with experience coordinating or supporting infrastructure, construction, or project delivery activities who can build solid stakeholder relationships and keep multiple workstreams moving.
You'll bring an understanding of project management principles, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a practical approach to problem-solving.To be successful in this role, you'll have:Experience supporting or coordinating projects,



with an understanding of project management methodologies and processes.Knowledge of construction project delivery and site-based environments.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Experience using business management systems such as Pronto, EDRMS, OTAB, or similar platforms.Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness and ability to travel across NSW at short notice.We focus on hiring people who share our commitment and goals of inclusion, collaboration, adaptability, courage and integrity.
