As a Senior Java Developer reporting to Director – Software Engineering, you'll take end-to-end ownership of meaningful technical challenges — from understanding requirements to shipping production-ready solutions.
You'll work across backend systems, security, and cross-platform development, contributing to both new builds and the evolution of existing products.You'll thrive here if you're self-directed, curious, and energized by solving complex problems that have real impact on a global scale.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deploy software solutions that meet or exceed product and client requirementsBuild and maintain security-focused applications of increasing scope and complexityExtend and improve existing systems — adding functionality, enhancing performance, and adapting to new environmentsEnsure cross-platform compatibility across all deliverablesMonitor system improvements post-deployment and iterate based on performance outcomesContribute to architecture, database design, and technical direction as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experienceAt least 3 years strong, hands-on Java development skills with a solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithmsExperience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases — including design, analysis,



and queryingProven experience with continuous integration and deployment practices Demonstrated ability to write secure, testable, and maintainable codeExperience with cross-platform or multi-environment developmentPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or AzureExperience with data warehousing or large-scale data systemsBackground or interest in application security best practicesThis position will be located in Sydney, Australia and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 2 days a week in‐office (may increase to 3 days in the future).
