This organisation operates within a highly regulated environment where security, assurance and risk management are critical to delivering trusted public services.About the roleThis position will play a key role in supporting cyber security governance, risk and compliance activities, helping ensure security considerations are embedded across technology and business initiatives.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will contribute to security assurance activities, executive decision-making artefacts and the development of formal security documentation that supports organisational resilience and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to solution design activities by identifying security considerations and providing recommendations on security requirements.Support and coordinate security assurance activities, including assessments, reviews and testing programs.Develop executive-level communications, reports and documentation to support informed decision-making.Lead the development and maintenance of cyber security governance,
risk and compliance documentation.RequirementsMinimum 5 years' demonstrated experience performing cyber security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) functions within complex environments.Solid knowledge of the Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and Essential Eight.Experience developing security policies, standards, procedures and other formal governance documentation.Mandatory RequirementsMust be based in ACT as the role is 100% OnsiteMandatory NV1 Clearnace is requiredAbout INDEX ConsultantsINDEX Consultants delivers technology solutions to drive business success.
