Working within our collaborative team environment,
you'll deliver evidence-based interventions while contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop safety plansProvide evidence-based assessment, short to medium term counselling, single session counselling, and brief therapeutic case management supporting victim survivors of family violence in the context of their family violence experienceFacilitate individual and group programs focused on healing and empowermentCollaborate with external agencies including police, courts, and child protection servicesMentor staff and contribute to professional development activitiesMaintain accurate case documentation and participate in case reviewsWhat You'll BringTertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related fieldMinimum 3 years' experience in family violence or trauma-informed practiceStrong understanding of intersectional factors affecting diverse communitiesExcellent communication skills and ability to work with people from all backgroundsCurrent Working with Children Check and willingness to undergo police clearanceApplicants must have the right to work in Australia.The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Criminal History check.A medical assessment will be conducted to see if you are physically capable for the roleChild ProtectionBaptistCare is dedicated to the safety, empowerment, and participation of all children.
