You will be responsible for overseeing SMSF engagements, managing workflow, supporting team members and ensuring a consistently high standard of service delivery to clients.For the right candidate,



there is also the opportunity to broaden your exposure through involvement in Business Services work alongside SMSF engagements.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage SMSF engagements from commencement through to completionPrepare and review SMSF financial statements, annual returns and compliance documentationProcess and review transactions within BGL Simple Fund 360Liaise with clients, advisors, external auditors and other stakeholdersEnsure work is completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlinesAssist with superannuation advice and technical matters as requiredMentor, guide and support junior team membersMaintain high levels of technical compliance and quality assuranceAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring strong technical SMSF expertise together with excellent communication and organisational skills.You will ideally have:A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or a related disciplineCA or CPA qualification (or be near completion)Minimum 3 years' experience in SMSF accounting within a public practice environmentStrong knowledge of Australian superannuation legislation and compliance requirementsSound understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and auditing requirements for SMSFsExperience preparing SMSF financial statements, tax returns and compliance reportingHigh attention to detail and excellent time management skillsA proactive and professional approach with a genuine commitment to client serviceExperience with the following will be highly regarded:APS Practice ManagementMicrosoft Office SuiteOur CultureOur people are at the heart of everything we do.
