Job DescriptionABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:n
This role would commence in January **** on an initial 5-year contract, with a further contract subject to satisfactory performance in the role.
n
Reporting to the Deputy Principal, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing strategic and inspirational leadership of the teaching and learning program from P-12. This role enables middle leaders and teachers to achieve excellence in student outcomes by leading a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, innovation, and evidence-informed educational practice.
n
The role focuses on:
n
n
Developing and articulating a clear vision for teaching and learning now and into the future while fostering a contemporary professional learning culture.
n
Coaching, mentoring, and collaborating with Curriculum Leaders to monitor student growth, and oversee academic progress.
n
Leading initiatives to acknowledge student academic success.
n
Building teacher capacity through an appreciative inquiry model,
career development plans aligned with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST), and collaborative Communities of Practice.
n
Monitoring pedagogical practice and teacher capacity for alignment with frameworks from the QCT, QCAA, and AITSL.
n
Collaborating across the Senior Leadership Team to contribute to the strategic planning, leadership, and management of the School.
n

To be successful in this opportunity, you will require:
n
n
Current Queensland College of Teachers (
QCT
) registration.
n
A Master's degree in Education.
n
Leadership and/or extensive professional experience in leading educational change that improved teacher practice and student outcomes.
n
Proven collaborative leadership skills and the ability to work professionally with staff across the P-12 spectrum.
n
Outstanding teaching practice and proficiency in using ICT for data collection and analysis.
n
Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary educational research in pedagogy, differentiation, professional learning, and evaluation methodologies.
n
Willingness to support our shared Purpose Statement and the School's values.
n
High level of professional standards, conduct, and an understanding of appropriate professional boundaries when working with children and young people.
n
Demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith and Anglican ethos of the School.
n

Possess and maintain a current Blue Card where applicable, or hold valid QCT registration;
