Anvo Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in our South Melbourne office.
This is a full-time role that will see you play a crucial part in providing strategic tax advisory services to our diverse client base.What you'll be doingProviding expert tax planning and compliance services to a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, small businesses, and corporate clientsPreparing and lodging complex tax returns, including individual, trust, partnership, and company tax returnsConducting in-depth tax research and analysis to identify tax minimisation strategies for clientsAdvising clients on tax implications of business decisions and transactionsCollaborating with the broader accounting team to deliver integrated financial solutionsMentoring and training junior members of the tax teamKeeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and best practicesWhat we're looking forBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field4+ years' post-qualification experience in a tax accounting role within a professional services firmStrong technical knowledge of Australian taxation laws and regulations,



including income tax and GSTExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide practical, commercial adviceOutstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clientsExperience in supervising and developing junior team membersStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workMembership of a professional accounting body (CPA or CA) is highly desirableWhat we offerAt Anvo , we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
