At Respect, we're looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Senior Registered Nurse.
This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on clinical care with leadership, mentoring and quality improvement in a supportive residential aged care environment.Working closely with the General Manager, Care Manager and broader clinical team, you'll play an key role in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care while supporting and guiding other nursing and care staff.If you're passionate about aged care, enjoy leading by example and want to build your career with a values-driven organisation, we'd love to hear from you.About the RoleAs a Senior Registered Nurse, you'll deliver high-quality, person-centred care to our elderly residents, ensuring their clinical, physical and emotional needs are met with compassion and respect.
You'll use your clinical expertise to assess, plan and coordinate care while supporting residents and their families.Working alongside the Care Manager, you'll also provide day-to-day leadership to the nursing team, mentor staff, promote best practice and help ensure exceptional care outcomes.In this role, you will:Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residentsLead by example and provide clinical guidance to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Care StaffComplete comprehensive clinical assessments and care planningMonitor residents' health and respond to changes in clinical conditionAdminister medications and treatments in accordance with best practiceSupport the management of complex clinical needsAssist with clinical audits,



documentation and quality improvement activitiesContribute to accreditation readiness and compliance with the Aged Care Quality StandardsPromote a positive, collaborative and resident-focused team cultureWork closely with the leadership team to continually improve resident outcomesThis role offers the opportunity to remain involved in resident care while developing your leadership skills and contributing to the ongoing success of the home.About YouYou're an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and supporting others to succeed.You'll also bring:Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (or eligibility to obtain registration)Experience in residential aged care or a similar clinical settingStrong clinical assessment and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA passion for mentoring and supporting other nurses and care staffSound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality StandardsStrong documentation and care planning skillsA commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvementConfidence using clinical software and Microsoft OfficeWe welcome applications from both Australian-based and international candidates who are committed to delivering exceptional aged care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
