An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Consultant - Procurement to join a highly regarded management consulting environment, working across complex procurement, commercial advisory and transformation engagements.We're looking for someone who has already built experience within a consulting environment and brings several years of hands-on procurement experience.
Ideally, you'll have worked across government or public sector procurement, giving you a solid understanding of structured procurement processes, governance and stakeholder environments.What you'll be doingLeading end-to-end procurement processes and complex tendersProviding strategic procurement and commercial advice to senior stakeholdersDesigning and implementing procurement policies, frameworks and governance modelsSupporting procurement transformation initiatives and capability uplift programsManaging supplier engagement,
market approaches and negotiation processesTurning complex analysis into clear, decision-ready recommendationsWhat you'll bringPrevious experience working within management consulting or a professional services consulting environmentSeveral years of procurement, commercial or strategic sourcing experienceDemonstrated experience leading procurement projects and complex tendersGovernment or public sector procurement experience highly regardedFamiliarity with public sector procurement frameworks, including Commonwealth Procurement Rules, desirableStrong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence working with senior and executive-level stakeholdersStrong commercial judgement and the ability to navigate complex client environments
