The team focuses on supporting change, improving ways of working and helping teams successfully adopt new processes and approaches.The RoleThis role focuses on supporting and delivering change across Public Transport Services.
You will work closely with leaders and teams to understand impacts, support readiness and help embed new ways of working into day-to-day operations.It is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in change or transformation and is looking to step into a more senior role with greater ownership and influence.In this role, you will:Plan and deliver change projects and initiatives to achieve agreed outcomessupport and deliver change initiatives that improve how teams operatework with stakeholders to understand impacts and support readiness for changedevelop and deliver communication, engagement and adoption activitiescoordinate activities across teams to support smooth implementation of changemonitor progress and provide explicit updates on change outcomes and risksidentify and manage risks,
issues and dependencies related to changesupport project activities where required to enable successful deliveryprovide guidance to support officers to build consistent change practicescontribute to improving change approaches, tools and ways of workingbuild strong relationships to support adoption and sustained outcomesTo be successful you will have:experience delivering change initiatives with accountability for outcomes in a complex environmentpractical experience applying change management approaches to support adoptionstrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsability to translate change impacts into clear and practical actions}strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing prioritiessound problem solving skills and attention to detailability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholdersstrong written and verbal communication skillsexperience leading or owning components of change initiatives end-to-endformal training or certification in change management (for example Prosci or similar)experience working in operational or service delivery environmentsexposure to project delivery in a change or transformation contextBenefits of working for Council include:flexible working hours, and flexible arrangementsfree gym and wellness centreaward winning superannuation fundgenerous leave provisionsThis role may require a Criminal History Check,
