In addition to our ongoing production success, we have an extensive exploration programme across our highly prospective tenement, making K92 a great place to build a long-term career.About the roleAbout the roleReporting to the Geology Manager, you will be tasked with the validation of weekly field data from our exploration program and the subsequent creation of maps in various GIS software programs thus enabling our team to have transparent, concise mapping for field use and reporting.
You will be heavily involved in tabulating data and Maps for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.




You will be a dedicated geologist with great people skills who wants to be part of a highly skilled and motivated exploration team as K92 continues its exploration success.Key AccountabilitiesKey accountabilities of this position include.Validation of weekly field data from the geologistsCreate maps and tables for the weekly and monthly reportsCreate presentation quality maps for reporting and presentationTrain geologists on how to enter and validate dataReview and validate historical data including updating geological interpretationsCreate three dimensional geological and mineralisation wireframes and models, with regular reviews and updates of these as new data is obtainedConduct specialist data and technical reviews in conjunction with other senior geologistsParticipate in target reviews and ranking as well as planning appropriate exploration programs for high priority target areasAbout YouTo be considered for this role, it is essential that you are tertiary qualified in Geology or similar with 10+ years' experience in gold and porphyry gold/copper exploration, you will have strong people skills and work in a collaborative manner.
In addition, you must have all or some of the following:Experienced in exploration mapping software and creating high quality mapsGood knowledge and working application of industry software and database platforms such as SQL and Access.Experience in multiple stage data validationExperience in weekly,
