Parnell is on an exciting growth trajectory and we're looking for a Senior NPI Associate - Innovations to join our New Product Introduction team, in our facility in Alexandria.The New Product Introduction (NPI) team requires an additional analytical chemist to support the growth phase of Parnell.As a Senior NPI Associate, you will act as the primary SME for the NPI group to support the business innovation plans.
This role will participate in activities such as process validations, transfer activities between laboratories, evaluation of second source vendors including liaison with vendors, confirmatory analysis of material and products and other analytical activities to support the business plan.This person will form part of the multi-department New Product Introduction and Innovations Team as an Analytical Chemist representative.
Strong documentation development and management practice including quality by design practices is desired.The role will report to the Vice President - NPI.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGParticipate as NPI SME in cross-department projects focusing on innovation projects and new product commercializationLiaise with internal stakeholders throughout entire projectAnalytical chemist responsible for analytical testing required to evaluate and bring in second source suppliers for key products (role will include lab-based formulation or spiking studiesManage and Vendor Qualify any new material vendors required of the innovations project planUpdate raw material specifications to support the changes in the project planPerform lab scale development stability testing (T0-T6)
to evaluate innovative changes to existing productsPrepare and/or review protocols and reports for product stability studies (if required to support the innovative change)Act as a co-contributor with the QC group (as analytical chemist) for the implementation of chosen business innovation / commercialization plansParticipate in execution of new analytical method validations, forced degradation studies and product degradation profiles (where required).

You bring:B.Sc.
/B.A.Sc.
or equivalent degree majoring chemistry or a related discipline preferable with a Ph.D. or M.Sc.Minimum 5+ years' experience in analytical test laboratory within the pharmaceutical industry (human or veterinary), specifically in HPLC analysis using empower softwareExperience in analytical method validation activities (desirable)A highly developed competence in cGMP/cGLP document and SOP/report writing and authorizationProject management and technical transfer experience is favorableGood communication skills both written and verbalExceptionally strong writing skills relevant to quality documents and reportsBe able to work autonomously and as a teamThe ability to communicate effectively with personnel from all levelsOutstanding attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues while making timely and accurate decisionsWHY PARNELL?
