and Supply Chain teams to forecast parts requirements and prevent supply-driven downtimeMonitor and report on key warehouse performance metrics, including inventory accuracy, stock turns, and order fulfilment ratesIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costsEnsure all dangerous goods, hazardous materials, and high-value items are stored and handled in accordance with regulatory requirementsSupport capital and consumable procurement processes as required, including vendor management and expeditingAbout YouOur ideal candidate will have previous demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within the mining or heavy industry sector.Essential:Extensive experience in warehouse, stores, or supply chain management, with prior experience in a superintendent capacityProven experience managing warehousing operations in a mining, resources, or heavy maintenance environmentStrong working knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g. SAP, Pronto, or equivalent ERP platforms)Demonstrated ability to lead, coach,
and develop a team in a remote or site-based settingSolid understanding of HSEC requirements and a commitment to zero-harm principlesHigh level of organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environmentPreferred:Experience supporting heavy vehicle or truck maintenance facilitiesExposure to autonomous or semi-autonomous haulage fleet environmentsUnderstanding of dangerous goods storage and handling requirementsTertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related disciplineForklift licence (LF) and relevant materials handling equipment certificationsAbout OnslowOnslow Iron is one of the largest iron ore projects under development in Australia, set to unlock billions of tonnes of stranded deposits in the West Pilbara region.
Underpinning the project is the innovative supply chain including modular crushers, a 150km private, dedicated haul road, and transhippers.The Truck Maintenance Facility is located close to the Onslow Port, which covers the coastal component of the Onslow Iron project.
Central to the project's success is our innovative transhipping solution, which allows us to ship iron ore without the need for a deep-water port.
