As a Senior Accountant, you will deliver high‐quality accounting, taxation and advisory services across a diverse client base.
You will play a key role in reviewing work, supporting junior team members and assisting Managers and Directors on more complex business services matters, while maintaining strong client relationships.This role offers genuine scope to broaden your advisory exposure, strengthen leadership capability and progress your career within a growing regional accounting firm.Key responsibilitiesClient service & advisoryPrepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, FBT and other compliance obligationsAssist with business advisory services including structuring, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and succession planningLiaise directly with clients to resolve queries and provide clear, practical accounting and tax adviceBuild strong, trusted client relationships and deliver a high standard of client serviceTechnical & complianceEnsure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, ATO requirements and relevant taxation legislationConduct technical research and assist with complex tax and accounting mattersMaintain up‐to‐date knowledge of taxation law,



accounting standards and industry developmentsIdentify risk areas and ensure work is completed accurately and to a high professional standardTeam support & practice contributionSupervise, review and provide feedback on work completed by intermediate and junior accountantsSupport training, mentoring and professional development of team membersAssist Managers and Directors with workflow management, client engagements and special projectsContribute to process improvements, quality assurance standards and practice growth initiativesAbout youYou will have:CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)Significant experience in public practice accountingStrong technical knowledge of tax, accounting and complianceProven experience preparing and reviewing complex financial statements and tax returnsStrong communication skills and confidence working directly with clientsAbility to manage deadlines and competing prioritiesA proactive, cooperative and solutions‐focused approachHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality
