The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C;) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.The current transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from **** to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects,



which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year.The Senior Project Planner will play an important role in supporting planning and scheduling of transmission line construction, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
This role involves working closely with senior planners, engineers, procurement, and construction teams to develop, monitor, and control project schedules.
The planner will provide analytical support, identify risks, and suggest mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Specialised knowledge of project scheduling ideally within a major electrical infrastructure projectProficient in Primavera software applications and P3/database programmingDemonstrable understanding of design engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning methodologiesActively assist in the identification and communication of risks and opportunities for the projectDevelop cost schedules to forecast estimated costs of completionCollaborate with stakeholders to gather input and maintain alignment on project milestones, timelines, and deliverablesMonitor progress and performance against the baseline schedule and provide regular updates and reports to project leadership and clientsIntegrate schedules with cost control systems to support accurate forecasting and reportingEnsure compliance with company planning procedures, industry standards,



and client requirementsAssists with clients' needs through personal contact and analysis of the projects and contract documentationEnsure compliance with all relevant HSE policies, procedures, and legislative requirementsCriteria for SelectionBachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field6+ years of proven experience in project planning within the electrical infrastructure sector, specifically in substation or transmission line constructionStrong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS ProjectSolid understanding of EPC project delivery models, construction sequencing, and substation componentsExperience with earned value management, resource loading, and performance measurementExcellent communication, analytical, and problem‐solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlineWorking knowledge of HS&E; requirements and implementation of sameWell versed in MS Office Package.
Experience with Power BI and time chainage softwareGood at multi‐tasking and demonstrates sound judgment, including balancing competing issuesClear communication – verbal and writtenPresented problem‐solving / analytical skillsWe welcome applicants of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
