The Position
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role supports key finance functions across the group, ensuring accurate reporting, timely reconciliations and smooth day‐to‐day financial operations. You'll enjoy a varied role including:
Preparing monthly financial reports and supporting budgeting and forecasting
Completing balance sheet, bank and intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities
Supporting month‐end processes, audit preparation and statutory reporting
Assisting with cash flow, banking and financial analysis
Providing back‐up support across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable when required
Working closely with interstate branches and the New Zealand finance team on a range of finance projects
The Candidate
You'll enjoy this role if you're someone who likes variety, enjoys getting into the detail and is looking to step into a broader accounting position where you can continue developing your technical skills.
Ability to work in an office workplace 5 days per week
Accounting degree
Robust attention to detail and reconciliation accuracy
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience
Sound analytical and problem‐solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
High level of initiative and willingness to learn
