You will work alongside experienced strategists, architects and change leaders on the kind of problems that really make a difference.Joining Business Transformation Services team means strategic work with genuine ownership, quick growth in a supportive and high‐calibre team, and the chance to help build a practice that is changing how transformation is delivered in Australia.If you want your advisory work to matter, we would like to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesConsulting & Client EngagementManage client relationships understanding client needs and developing solutions that provide strong long‐term relationshipsSupport the provision of technology and digital advice (within a business strategy context) to our clients across a range of industriesSupport clients in identifying and evaluating opportunities to leverage AI technologies to improve business outcomes, operational efficiency and customer experience.Contribute to AI advisory engagements, including AI strategy, use case identification and adoption planning.Work with the broader digital advisory team to analyse, workshop and generate insights and recommendationsDevelop client deliverables and recommend strategic solutions to improve business performance, including operational changes, process improvements, and organisational restructuringSupport the development of our industry and capability‐specific service offeringsDiscover & Define OpportunitiesEngage with leaders and teams to understand business objectives, challenges, and prioritiesIdentify friction points in how work is currently performed, including manual effort, delays, rework, and decision bottlenecksIdentify opportunities where AI generative AI and intelligent automation can create business value and improve ways of working.Translate business problems into clearly articulated opportunitiesCollaboratively work with clients to develop strong, practical use casesSupport client workshops, ideation sessions, and pilot reviewsTranslate Current‐State Workflows to Future StateDocument how work is done today across people, processes, systems, and decision pointsIdentify opportunities where technology like Analytics, RPA or AI can augment, automate, or re‐orchestrate workAssess how AI, generative AI and intelligent workflow technologies can be embedded into future state processes and operating models.Focus on practical understanding rather than overly complex process documentationDesign future‐state workflows that embed technology into day‐to‐day workClarify roles, responsibilities, and decision rights between people and AIConsider skills, capability, and operating model impactsDefine Pilot‐Ready Use CasesShape ideas into pilot‐ready use cases with clear scope and success measuresSupport the development of AI use cases, including expected benefits, success measures and implementation considerations.Consider responsible AI principles,



governance requirements and risk mitigation approaches during solution design.Identify high‐level data, integration, and tooling considerationsDefine assumptions, risks, and guardrails to support responsible technology useSupport prioritisation of use cases based on value and feasibilityClient‐Embedded DeliveryPartner with clients to shape technically viable AI solutions from ambiguous problem statementsBuild and review prototypes, MVPs, and pilot solutionsProvide senior technical credibility in client‐facing discussionsGuide decisions on when solutions are prototypes, pilots, or ready for scaleCollaborate with technical teams to ensure AI solutions align with business objectives and user needs.Learning & Thought LeadershipSupport implementation teams in navigating ambiguity and trade‐offsFoster a culture of learning, experimentation, and craftsmanshipStay current with advances in AI technologies, including generative AI, agents, orchestration frameworks, and tooling.Experiment with new tools and approaches and bring insights into client workContribute to internal playbooks, patterns and practicesWhat will make you successful in this role?
EssentialDemonstrated 2 – 7 years of technology or management consulting experienceDemonstrated interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies with the ability to identify practical business applications.Understanding of how AI can be applied to improve business processes, customer experiences, and operational performance.Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and facilitate workshopsExperience translating business needs into technology – enabled solutionsStrong communication, presentation and report writing skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts across diverse audiences.Experience in business transformation, digital transformation, product management, service design, business architecture or process improvement.Business first mindset with strong systems and analytical thinkingComfortable operating in ambiguity and early‐stage problem spacesHuman centered approach to technology designCurious, pragmatic and outcomes focusedStrong facilitation and storytelling skillsDesirableExposure to data, analytics, AI, Automation or decision support technologies.Experience redesigning business processes, workflows or operating models.Familiarity with copilots, generative AI tools or agent‐based systemsFamiliarity with security, privacy and responsible AI considerationsWhy is this an exciting opportunity?
