As a Senior Social Worker (Paediatrics), you will play a critical role in supporting the psychosocial wellbeing of children, young people and families accessing services across Caboolture and Kilcoy Hospitals.
Working within the Women's, Children's and Family Service Line, you will provide advanced clinical social work services to patients and families experiencing complex psychosocial challenges, including trauma, child safety concerns, family violence, grief and loss, crisis situations, chronic health conditions and end-of-life care journeys.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:Deliver high level evidence based clinical services, including crisis counselling, in accordance with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Code of Ethics and AASW Skilled Practice Standards through assessing clinical risk and the complex psychosocial needs of patients/families/carers.Manage an allocated workload to deliver specialised Paediatrics Social Work services, including assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team in accordance with established clinical and departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards.Deliver high level clinical and operational advice and work collaboratively and effectively with other Social Work practitioners, professional and operational supervisors,
