As our business continues to grow rapidly, we are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team.We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to grow with us from the ground up.
In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure across a broad range of accounting and finance functions, including daily reconciliations, financial data analysis, client money accounting, regulatory reporting support, and system-based financial controls.Responsibilities:Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow statementsMaintain the general ledger, journals, accruals,
and prepaymentsPerform bank and payment provider reconciliations (local and offshore accounts)Support year-end financial statements and external auditsMaintain and reconcile client money trust accounts in accordance with ASIC Client Money Reporting RulesMonitor daily segregation of client funds vs company fundsPrepare daily and monthly client money reconciliations and regulatory reportsLiaise with compliance and operations teams to resolve reconciliation discrepanciesReview settlement data for accuracyProcess daily funds Report and reconciliationClients commission/rebate calculation and checkingResponsible for customer withdrawals and payment channelsCross check deposit and withdraw processing to ensure accounts are set up correctly and in line with internal proceduresGenerate Analysis reports to support business goalsSkills and requirements:3+ years accounting or settlement related experienceExperience working under ASIC framework highly regardedGreat attention to detailGood with numbers and figures and an analytical acumenUnderstanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practicesExperience in MS Office would be a plusGood in English
