Sitting within the Group Design Practice and reporting to the UX Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in building and evolving the eCommerce design system that powers some of RACV's most important customer journeys.From insurance quote-to-purchase experiences to self-service digital interactions, you'll ensure our experiences are consistent, accessible, scalable and ready for delivery.
Working at the intersection of design and technology, you'll act as the bridge between UX and Engineering, translating customer journeys and design intent into reusable components, patterns and standards that can be implemented across digital channels.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to RACV's evolving eCommerce customer experience vision and support major integration initiatives while helping establish a design system that drives quality, efficiency and consistency across the organisation.What you'll be doingDesign and evolve the eCommerce UI design system, including components, patterns, tokens and interaction standardsTranslate UX journeys, concepts and flows into scalable, reusable UI assetsDefine component specifications, behaviours, states, accessibility requirements and edge casesEnsure the design system supports complex transactional and eCommerce experiences, including quote, purchase, account and servicing journeysPartner closely with designers and developers to ensure design solutions are technically feasible and aligned to platform constraintsCreate clear documentation that supports efficient design-to-development deliveryChampion accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2)
