About Opportunity
As Senior Safety Advisor, you'll coordinate and help implement health and safety systems across the project, reporting to the Health & Safety Manager.
You'll identify hazards, assess risks and recommend controls to the delivery team, while supporting the zone safety advisor and safety trainee.
Working closely with project teams, subcontractors and the Alliance Management Team,



you'll help embed safety as a core value across the workplace.
Key accountabilities for the position will be:
Identify hazards and manage risk controlsReview and approve Safe Work Method StatementsSupport the H&S; Management Plan and complianceInvestigate incidents and close out corrective actionsDeliver training and toolbox talks to crewsGuide the zone safety advisor and safety traineeDrive continuous improvement in safety culture
Required Skills
Diploma of Work Health & Safety or related fieldCurrent Construction Induction Training (White Card)Advanced First Aid certificate, kept currentExperience in a senior safety role on construction projectsStrong knowledge of H&S; legislation and standards
