You'll play a key role in the commercial management of projects, ensuring strong financial control and successful delivery across a busy portfolio of works.Key ResponsibilitiesLead pre-contract activities including forecasting, measurement, subcontract tendering, and procurementManage project commercials: valuations, applications, cost control, and change managementOversee subcontractor packages and support operational delivery teamsPrepare, submit, and agree Final AccountsProduce accurate project forecasts and contribute to monthly reporting cyclesIdentify, assess,



and mitigate commercial and contractual risksDrive cashflow through effective valuation and invoicing processesSupport and mentor junior commercial staff and site teamsEnsure compliance with contractual, legal, and internal proceduresRequirementsDegree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplineProven experience operating at Senior QS level within construction or civil engineeringStrong background in highways or infrastructure projectsSolid working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts (Option A preferred)Experience with Highways Method of Measurement / Schedule of RatesExcellent communication and organisational skillsAdvanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly ExcelSalary: £450 – £500/dayJob Type: ContractLocation: Ipswich
