Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving enterprise-wide financial planning, business performance, strategic analysis and financial decision support across the organisation.Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and operational stakeholders, you will play a critical role in translating strategy into actionable financial plans, providing commercial insight, and supporting key investment, capital allocation and business improvement decisions.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly commercial finance leader seeking broad organisational influence within a large-scale, operationally complex business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes across the businessDevelop and maintain integrated financial models that support strategic decision-making, capital planning and business growth initiativesDrive enterprise performance management,



including monthly performance reviews, executive reporting and variance analysisDeliver meaningful insights across revenue, margin, productivity, cash flow, working capital and capital performanceProvide commercial leadership on contract economics, tender evaluations, investment decisions and strategic growth opportunitiesPartner with senior operational and commercial stakeholders to identify value creation, productivity and cost optimisation initiativesStrengthen financial governance, reporting frameworks and performance management processes across the organisationLead and develop the FP&A; and Business Performance team while driving continuous improvement across systems, reporting and analytics capabilitiesAbout YouCA or CPA qualified, with tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related disciplineSignificant experience in FP&A;, commercial finance, business performance, strategic finance or corporate finance leadership rolesDemonstrated success operating within capital-intensive and operationally complex industries such as mining, resources, infrastructure or industrial servicesStrong experience partnering with executive stakeholders and contributing to Board-level reporting and governance processesExceptional financial modelling, business analysis and strategic planning capabilitiesDeep understanding of capital allocation, cash flow management, working capital performance and commercial decision-makingA collaborative and influential leadership style, with the ability to challenge constructively and build trusted relationships across the businessPassion for continuous improvement, team development and driving commercial outcomes
