and oversight of development applications;Participation in strategic planning and policy initiatives;Assessment of planning schemes and legislation interpretation;Provision of planning advice across various local government areas and development types;Project management of development applications;Pursuing out-of-the-box solutions for clientsCollaboration with council assessment managers, clients, and consultant teams to achieve positive planning outcomes;Review of development plans and technical reports;Support for planning research and investigations;Keeping our clients informed and up to date throughout the processesWhat we're looking forTertiary qualification in Urban Design, Town Planning or a related disciplineMin 4 years experience in Development Assessment within local or state government.Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex planning regulationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA collaborative and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independentlyFamiliarity with the planning and development landscape in QueenslandWhat we offerCompetitive salary and benefits packageSupportive and inclusive work environmentAccess to the latest technology and resources to support your work
