About the roles

Several of our clients currently require senior civil (concrete) designers to deliver their major projects.
Both permanent and contract positions are available.
The roles are based in Brisbane with strong progression opportunities in highly‐renowned, award‐winning and growing consultancies.
Sector focuses include mining, mineral processing and civil infrastructure.
The ideal candidates will be comfortable with creating high quality engineering concept plans, designs and documentation for projects from concept to completion.
They should have experience with 3D modelling and be able to utilize strong design skills in order to create visual aids.
Responsibilities
Prepare high quality detailed design, drawings and documentation for mining,
mineral processing and civil infrastructure projectsWork in conjunction with Engineering, Drafting and Detailing personnel from the initial planning stages of the project through to final constructionInterface with the client regarding designs, providing advice and coordinating solutionsOversee and mentor junior designersEnsure HSEQ and other relevant client and industry standards are met
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' experience in design and documentation for mining, mineral processing and civil infrastructure projectsExperience with AutoCADDesign experience for heavy reinforced concrete for mining, mineral processing and civil infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of govt and Australian standardsStrong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
