As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a hands‐on role in designing, building, and supporting enterprise data, BI,



and AI‐enabled analytics solutions across our Azure Databricks.
Supporting both project delivery and BAU operations, you'll work closely with business stakeholders, BI teams, and technology partners to deliver reliable, scalable, and high‐quality data solutions that drive smarter business outcomes.
Design, build, and support enterprise data, BI, and AI‐enabled analytics solutions across the Azure DatabricksDeliver both project‐based initiatives and BAU support, ensuring reliable and high‐quality data and reporting solutionsDevelop and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and analytical data models using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, SQL, Python, PySpark, and Databricks SQLBuild, optimise, and administer Power BI datasets, semantic models, and reports to enable advanced analytics and data‐driven decision‐makingMonitor data platforms and pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance, reliability, and data qualityImplement and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOpsApply data governance, security, authentication, and access control best practices across Azure servicesContribute to the design, enforcement, communication, and education of data governance practicesCollaborate closely with business stakeholders, BI teams, data science, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, production‐ready solutions

Strong experience delivering data solutions on Microsoft AzureHands‐on expertise with SQL, Python, PySpark, and Databricks SQLProven experience designing data warehouses and analytical data modelsStrong Power BI development and administration skills, including DAXExperience working in DevOps environments, including CI/CD and source controlAbility to balance project delivery with BAU support in production environmentsSolid understanding of data integration, analytics platforms, and reporting architecturesExperience delivering or supporting AI/BI or advanced analytics solutionsExposure to Azure AI or analytics services (e.g. Azure Machine Learning)End‐to‐end delivery experience for BI or advanced analytics initiativesRetail industry experience highly desirable, with exposure to supply chain, logistics, or banking considered advantageous
