We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Mining Engineer - Medium Term Planning to join the Technical Services team at our CMJV operation.Reporting to the Superintendent Technical Services, this role is responsible for the development and delivery of medium term mine plans (3 months to 5 years) that support safe, efficient, and value-driven operations.You will work closely with operations and technical teams to ensure plans are practical, optimised, and aligned with site objectives.Duties will include:Develop and maintain medium term mine plans and schedulesProduce designs and forecasts aligned with production targetsEnsure plans are safe, practical, and executable by operationsMonitor plan performance and identify improvement opportunitiesIntegrate geology, drill & blast, and operational inputs into planning outputsProvide technical support and guidance to site stakeholdersUtilise SPRY planning software to develop and optimise schedulesUtilise Vulcan and Deswik design software to produce pit, dump and rehab designs supporting the medium and long-term plans aligned with operational requirementsMentor and support junior engineers within the teamContribute to budgeting, forecasting, and life-of-mine activitiesSupport continuous improvement initiatives across planning and operationsThe LifestyleThis position is offered on a 9-day fortnight roster (Monday-Friday, Monday-Thursday) and supports a residential, DIDO, or FIFO lifestyle, depending on candidate preference.Peabody Energy also offers:Competitive remuneration and performance incentivesEmployee Assistance Program for you and your immediate familyHealth and lifestyle benefitsEmployee recognition programsCareer development and progression opportunitiesA supportive,
