This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the manufacture of BAC's products to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, to quality standards, and within budget.
Leading a team of up to 60 permanent and temporary employees, the Manufacturing Manager will organise and monitor workflow, drive operational performance, and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.The role requires a highly visible leader who is actively engaged on the shop floor, working closely with employees, supervisors, and support functions to achieve production objectives, maintain safety and quality standards, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer outcomes.What you will bring to the BAC TeamProven experience leading manufacturing teams and delivering operational results in a production environmentA robust commitment to workplace safety, quality, and fostering a positive team cultureDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, develop, and engage employees at all levelsExperience in production planning, workflow management, and delivering against operational targetsStrong continuous improvement capabilities, including Lean manufacturing principles and process optimisationExperience leading business improvement projects, driving change, and implementing sustainable operational improvementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills,
