You'll work closely with engineering teams, customers, and safety authorities to ensure solutions are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose throughout the entire lifecycle.
You'll play a key role in:Leading and delivering system safety engineering activitiesConducting hazard identification, risk assessments, and safety assurance activitiesDeveloping safety cases, safety arguments, and supporting artefactsInfluencing engineering outcomes to ensure safe and effective solutionsEngaging with customers, regulators, and key stakeholders on safety-related mattersSupporting continuous improvement across safety processes and programsWhat We're Looking ForExperience in Systems Safety Engineering within a safety-critical environmentBackground in industries such as Defence, Aerospace, Rail, Transport, Nuclear, Energy, Oil & Gas, or other highly regulated sectorsExperience delivering safety assessments, safety cases, and assurance activitiesKnowledge of recognised safety standards such as MIL-STD-882, ARP****, ISO*****, ISO*****, or similar frameworksAn engineering degree or equivalent industry experienceThe ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiencesWhat you get in return12-month contract with strong project pipelineMelbourne-based roleOpportunity to work on nationally significant programsExposure to cutting-edge technologies and engineering challengesCollaborative and supportive team environmentCompetitive daily rate package
