Their product range is built around precision engineering, quick toolless installation, and clean design integration.They need a Senior Business Development Manager who actually wants to get out on the road, open new doors, and bring in new commercial projects.
While you will manage existing relationships, the main focus here is hunting for fresh opportunities and winning market share.The RoleYou will be out in the field driving new business, securing specs, and selling directly to engineers, specifiers, contractors, end users, and project wholesalers.Key responsibilities:Getting out into the market to identify and win new commercial, corporate, and institutional lighting projectsBuilding direct relationships across the full pipeline, including engineers, specifiers, electrical contractors, end users, and wholesalersRunning technical product demos,



showing decision-makers how reliable and easy these systems are to specify and installManaging project pipelines from early design concepts right through to tender, contractor purchasing, and final deliveryMaintaining account management duties while keeping your main focus on hunting new revenue streamsWhat You BringHands-on sales experience in architectural lighting, commercial lighting, or specified building materialsA real drive to hunt for new business rather than just managing existing accountsConfidence dealing directly with engineers, contractors, wholesalers, and design specifiersAbility to read technical plans, lighting layouts, and project specsStrong communication skills and a direct, practical approach to closing dealsSalary and BenefitsBase salary: $110,000 to $160,000 + Super (commensurate with experience)Uncapped commission structure tailored to reward current business winsLaptop and mobile phoneSolid technical and back-office support from the internal teamNB: All candidates that meet our client's shortlist will be contacted within 2 business days
