The Senior Installer – Hoarding is a hands‐on installation role for an experienced construction professional looking to take the next step into leadership.
Working closely with the Construction Manager, this role is responsible for installing, maintaining and dismantling hoarding systems while supporting the coordination of crews, larger projects and major event works.This position is ideal for someone with strong construction site experience, confidence using hand and power tools, and the ability to lead by example on site.
The successful candidate will assist in running jobs, coordinating small crews, maintaining quality and safety standards, and acting as a key link between site stakeholders and Head Office.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruct, install, maintain and dismantle solid timber hoarding systemsSafely operate hand tools, power tools and installation equipmentLoad, unload and transport materials between sitesAssist with site preparation, set out and completion of worksMaintain high quality workmanship and attention to detail on all projectsSupport the coordination of installers on site and assist with daily task allocationLead by example through safe work practices, productivity and professionalismAssist with onboarding and mentoring new team membersStep into a crew leadership role when requiredSupport the delivery of larger projects and event installationsSafety & ComplianceEnsure all works are completed in accordance with WHS requirementsIdentify and report hazards and unsafe work practicesParticipate in toolbox talks and site safety activitiesMaintain compliance with site‐specific and company requirementsStakeholder CommunicationLiaise professionally with builders, site managers,
contractors and suppliersAssist with resolving on‐site installation issuesCommunicate project updates and requirements to the Construction ManagerAdministration & ReportingComplete job paperwork accurately and on timeRecord site variations, stock usage and completed worksReport damaged materials, equipment issues and stock shortagesAssist with documentation required for invoicing and project completionIdeal Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will have:Previous experience in construction, hoarding, fencing, carpentry, events infrastructure or a similar installation environmentStrong experience using hand and power toolsExperience leading small crews or coordinating jobs on siteExcellent communication and leadership skillsHigh attention to detail and pride in workmanshipStrong problem‐solving abilities and initiativeA reliable, punctual and consistent work ethicGood physical fitness and willingness to perform manual work dailyA current driver's licenceForklift licence (desirable)Experience reading site plans and coordinating site works (desirable)Key Selling PointsClear pathway into a future Leading Hand positionOpportunity to lead larger projects and event installationsHands‐on role with variety across construction and eventsSupportive leadership team focused on development and growthWork with a growing national business delivering major projects across AustraliaWhy Join Ready Industries?
