Within Audemars Piguet's boutique in Australia, your main mission will be to ensure the integrity of financial operations, compliance and reporting activities while supporting the smooth running of the local business.As part of Audemars Piguet's first official boutique in Australia, you will play a key role in establishing and maintaining robust finance, governance and administrative processes.
Working closely with local and regional stakeholders, you will contribute to operational excellence and support the continued growth of the business.In this context, you will be responsible for:Acting as the primary finance contact for the Australian business and supporting local operations in collaboration with regional teamsManaging the full spectrum of accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed assets and employee expense claimsEnsuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standardsPerforming account reconciliations and maintaining the integrity of financial records, ledgers and supporting documentationLeading month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliationsPreparing financial reports, cash flow forecasts,
reporting packages and variance analyses in accordance with local and Group requirementsSupporting inventory reconciliations, stock reporting and the investigation of discrepancies where requiredContributing to management reporting and providing financial insights to support business decision-makingCoordinating tax and statutory compliance activities, including GST/BAS reporting, corporate tax requirements and audit deliverablesActing as a key point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, banks and corporate service providersEnsuring compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations and Group reporting requirementsMaintaining and strengthening internal control frameworks across finance and administrative processesIdentifying process improvement opportunities and contributing to the enhancement of finance operations, controls and reporting accuracySupporting internal and external audits and ensuring appropriate follow-up on audit recommendationsCoordinating legal, corporate governance and administrative matters, including corporate records, licenses, insurance policies and statutory registrationsSupporting vendor management, office administration and back-office operations to ensure the smooth running of the boutique and local businessBuilding solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth and operational excellenceDegree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline,
with a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent) preferredMinimum 5 of 7 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably within a multinational environmentExperience in retail, luxury or consumer-facing industries would be an advantagePrevious experience within an audit firm is a plusStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and internal controlsSolid experience managing full sets of accounts, month-end closing and financial reporting activitiesGood understanding of Australian statutory, tax and corporate compliance requirementsExperience liaising with auditors, tax advisors, banks and external stakeholdersExperience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelExposure to Group reporting within a multinational organization is preferredExperience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting or forecasting would be an advantageStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detailProactive, hands-on and capable of operating independently in a lean organizationStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environmentAudemars Piguet offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits package.Audemars Piguet is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
